Functional Septorhinoplasty
What does functional septorhinoplasty involve?
The primary goal of Functional Septorhinoplasty is to ensure the nose functions correctly while also improving its aesthetic appearance, allowing it to harmoniously integrate with the face and body of each individual, thereby optimizing nasal functionality.

Procedure
Functional Septorhinoplasty surgery is performed under general anesthesia. First, small incisions are made inside the nasal openings, in non-visible areas, to separate the skin from the underlying structures for visualization and modification according to each patient’s individual needs.
During the procedure, several adjustments can be made, such as increasing, lowering, or narrowing the nasal bridge, projecting, defining, or rotating the nasal tip, or even shortening the length of the nose. The nasal septum can also be modified to improve both aesthetics and nasal functionality. Finally, the incisions are closed, and the nose is protected with a bandage, allowing the skin to adapt to its new shape.
One of the advantages of our technique is that it does not require stitch removal, nor does it use nasal packing or casts, significantly minimizing swelling and reducing the appearance of bruising.
