Dr. Ernesto Andrade: The Implant King of Colombia

He wields the scalpel like a god and is perhaps the most famous plastic surgeon in the country. He earned this recognition for his natural results in breast surgeries, but above all, for developing the first ‘made in Colombia’ silicone breast implant at his factory, Sima, which produces and exports to all continents. Dr. Andrade completed a fellowship in endoscopic plastic surgery in Baltimore and is a laser specialist trained in the United States and Brazil. When he opened his first center in Bogotá, he aimed to create a clinic “without the feel of a clinic, one that inspires trust, comfort, and safety,” and both locations exude an atmosphere of peace and beauty, even when they are fully booked. Among his expansion projects, the surgeon has a mega-project in mind: to build the largest clinic in the Americas within three years.
