Cervicoplasty (Neck Surgery)
What is cervicoplasty?
Neck surgery, also known as a neck lift or cervicoplasty, is designed to lift, reshape, and tighten the tissues of the lower third of the face. These tissues often become saggy, loose, or descend with age. Cervicoplasty aims to improve facial contours, define the jawline, reduce nasolabial folds and marionette lines, and eliminate excess neck laxity, achieving a natural and long-lasting facial rejuvenation.

Procedure
Cervicoplasty is performed under general anesthesia through discreet incisions near the sideburn and around the ear, following the natural folds of the skin, making them nearly imperceptible. Using an exclusive cervicofacial technique, the skin of the neck and the lower and middle third of the face is lifted while reducing the subcutaneous fat layer in the neck.
Sutures are used to correct and suspend the platysma muscle in the neck, restoring its tone and support function. In cases of prominent submandibular glands, they are resected, and the deep layers of the middle and lower third of the face are tightened to improve nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
Finally, the skin of the neck and lower face is adjusted, with excess skin removed through the initial incisions. These incisions are then closed with hidden sutures and staples, ensuring a natural result.
